Did you know that our local food pantries serve up to 50 households a day?! With the rising in the cost of food, the need for food continues to substantially escalate in our community.

Our United Way of Meriden and Wallingford will be launching “Week of Action” this April to respond to this need; a week in-person drive to collect nonperishable food items for local pantries:

• Master’s Manna
• GLOW Food Pantry
• New Opportunities of Greater Meriden
• The Salvation Army-Meriden

Local companies, groups and individuals are encouraged to spring into action during our “Week of Action” initiative by donating nonperishable food items to United Way’s office to help the families the local pantries serve.

Kindly, drop off your donations to the office Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm.
