Day of Caring 2020
Care to share? Let’s UNITE through your skill!
The United Way of Meriden and Wallingford Volunteer Center is exited to present the Day of Caring 2020 virtual event that will take place on Thursday, September 24th, 2020. We have adapted our yearly volunteer event into a one-day virtual experience to provide various online skills training sessions in collaboration with volunteers from companies and local agencies. The focus of this virtual event is to connect volunteers with our partner agencies and the community to help individuals learn different skills that can be used in their everyday life and be shared with others. Join us in this fun, unique and creative virtual event.
Last year, we connected more than 200 volunteers with 20 local nonprofit organizations to help complete much needed projects. Volunteer work included a variety of activities including painting, gardening, landscaping, assisting in office work, food pantry organizing, and more.
We hope you’ll join our fight for a stronger community by participating in our 2020 Annual Day of Caring.
